What This Guide Covers
This Jupiter paintless dent repair guide helps you judge a repair before you book. It covers what quality work looks like, what to ask a technician and which local dents suit the method.
Paintless dent repair, or PDR, moves the metal back to its shape without repainting, so the factory paint stays. Juan Bacchetta works from behind the panel or, when the back is closed off, pulls with glue tabs from the front. PDR 360 does this by appointment in Riviera Beach. For the route and distance, read dent repair for Jupiter drivers.
How to Judge Quality Paintless Dent Repair Before You Book
Quality paintless dent repair shows up in four things you can check at the estimate: light, access, a paint check and stated limits.
- Light. Ask how the dent will be read. At PDR 360 that is an LED line board, whose reflected lines bend where the metal sits low or high.
- Access. Ask where the tool will reach: rods from behind the panel, or glue tabs from the front when the back is closed off.
- Paint check. Ask how cracked, chipped or peeling paint and filler from an earlier repair are handled. At PDR 360 Juan looks at both at the free estimate and explains the options.
- Stated limits. Ask which dents take more time or skill, such as deep sharp creases, stretched metal or panel edges with little tool access. Juan checks each one at the free estimate.
Questions to Ask a PDR Technician
Six questions show whether a PDR technician will check your panel first and name the limits before starting. Ask them at any estimate.
- Will you check the paint and metal first, and tell me what falls outside PDR? A clear answer is yes.
- Does the repair involve filler, repainting or removing the panel? PDR does none of these, which usually avoids sensor recalibration.
- How long will it take? The timeframe comes at the inspection, once someone has seen the panel.
- Does insurance apply? That depends on your policy and how the damage happened.
- What affects the cost? Size, depth, location, body lines, steel versus aluminum, dent count, access and paint condition. The free estimate settles it.
- Who does the work? The About page introduces the shop’s owner and PDR specialist.
Which Jupiter Dents Suit PDR
Dents of most sizes and shapes suit PDR when there is access, and Jupiter’s busy lots and storms leave plenty of them. Cracked paint and stretched metal take a closer look at the free estimate.
Beach lots. A shallow ding from a neighbor’s door at Carlin Park or Jupiter Beach Park usually suits PDR.
Stadium parking. In the lots around Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Abacoa, a shallow ding in the flat middle of a door usually suits PDR. A ding on a panel edge takes a closer look at tool access.
Storm debris. Wind can drop palm fronds, coconuts and branches onto a hood, roof or trunk lid. A round, shallow dent often suits PDR. If the paint cracked, bring the car in; Juan looks at it at the free estimate and explains the options.
Hail is infrequent in South Florida but real. If a storm marked your car, read about hail damage repair. For single dings, see paintless dent repair.
What a Finished Panel Should Look Like
High quality paintless dent repair should leave the factory paint in place and the panel matching its undamaged neighbors.
Before you take the car back, check the repair in three ways. Reflections run straight with no dimple or raised spot. The finish shows no new gloss or color difference. Body lines keep their sharpness.
View the panel from the side in angled light, which shows what overhead light hides. The finished panels in our gallery show the checks from this Jupiter paintless dent repair guide in practice. Each result depends on the dent.
Nothing is repainted, which also matters at resale, as paintless dent repair and car value explains. More guides are in dent repair tips and news.

How can I tell if a shop does quality paintless dent repair?
A shop does quality paintless dent repair when it reads the dent under controlled light and checks paint and access first. It also explains the options for each dent and shows finished panels. A repaired panel shows straight reflections, no filler and no new paint. Request a free estimate, and Juan runs these checks at the inspection.
Should a Jupiter driver pick PDR or a body shop for a small dent?
Start with PDR for a small dent, including a dent in a plastic bumper cover. PDR 360 does not paint, fill or replace panels. If the paint is cracked or the metal is sharply creased, bring the car in anyway; Juan looks at it at the in-person estimate and explains the options. Photos sent through the free estimate form give a first look.
What should I bring to a paintless dent repair appointment?
Bring the vehicle, washed if you can. Tell Juan how the damage happened and whether the panel has had earlier repair or paint work. Bring policy details if you are filing a claim. Repairs are by appointment at 8049 Monetary Drive, Suite C-1, Riviera Beach, FL 33404. Call 561-701-3318 to set a time, or send photos through the free estimate form for a first look.
